Visit Kangaroo Island

  • Flinders Chase National Park

Despite the bushfires in 2007, Flinders Chase National Park is making a steady recovery as one of SA’s top national parks. Occupying the western end of Kangaroo Island, the park is home to some beautiful, tall sugar-gum forests, particularly around Rocky River and the Ravine des Casoars approximately 5km south of Cape Borda. Kooky rock formations and brilliant bushwalks are the highlights.

  • Snelling Beach

The best swimming beach on the north coast, with a lovely arc of powdery white sand and sheltered shallows. Be charmed by its remote location and peaceful atmosphere. A truly lovely beach – exactly what Kangaroo Island is all about.

  • Seal Bay Tours

Seal Bay has been home to an Australian sea lion population for thousands of years, and offers one of the most exceptional nature-based experiences in the world. Take a guided tour through the heart of the colony or set your own pace on the wheelchair accessible 900 metre (return) boardwalk which meanders through the dunes to a number of viewing platforms.
